Hello Once Again All, Spanish Translation Hola una vez más a todos, Well we are headed to Thursday November 12 and there is a great deal of anxiety out there, so I continue to pray for a calm. I was thinking while I was walking my dog last week about how many people have and continue to come to faith in Jesus as a result of music. That is part of my testimony as I am sure many of yours. Why not share CCM Classic radio with those that you know that need Jesus in their lives. Now that we are doing family friendly music on Sundays, that might be a god way to get them introduced to the station. I always mix Jesus music with the regular programming. It is soft evangelism and as this world gets crazier and crazier, it is our responsibility to share the message of salvation. So we are in rotation Thursday which is a good thing as it is such a great mixture of music that you get to experience. I continue to ask for feedback about the station and looking for volunteers that would want to get involved. This weeks Vinyl Revival is Tim Sheppard’s album “Forever” This 10 track Vinyl was released in 1981 by Greentree Records. I am sure that you will recognize many of the folks below that contributed to this project. Mark Schultz wrote this song about a family dealing with their son's cancer when he was a youth minister at a church in Nashville, Tennessee. It was inspired by the grieving of a couple in his church, whose son had been diagnosed with leukemia. Shultz observed the struggles of the mother and father. He explained in CCM Top 100 Greatest Songs In Christian Music: Louise often stayed up with (Martin) until he fell asleep. She would rub his back and try to comfort him, but she felt helpless. Some nights, John would wake up and walk down the hall to Martin's room and watch him sleep. As he stood there, he would try to imagine what life would be like without his son. So Here is The Schedule: I have really mixed the decades up today on the playlist: Look below at the program schedule and you will see exactly what I mean.
